1 Install Streamyfin

Install Streamyfin from your device’s app store.

2 Add Blackbeard’s Vault

Open Streamyfin. In Server URL, enter the address below, then choose Connect.

Keep the s in https:// — copy the whole address exactly.

3 Log in

Enter the Username and Password Cruv sent you, then choose Log in.

Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

Pick a movie or episode and press Play.

Try Moonfin instead — free alternative

Moonfin is a strong alternative for this iPhone or iPad. Try it if you prefer its layout or the recommended app struggles with a particular title. It uses the same Jellyfin account.

  1. Install and open Moonfin.
  2. Choose Add Server. Enter the address below in Server Address, then choose Connect.

  3. If you see Who’s watching?, choose your profile or Add User. If a sign-in code appears, choose Password. Enter your Jellyfin username if asked, then your password, and choose Sign In.

    Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

    Choose Skip setup if asked about appearance, then choose a title and press Play.

Help when you need it

Something not working?
  • Can’t connect? Check the s in https:// and copy the full address again. Don’t add a port number.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not your email or an Emby login. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video or sound problem? Update the app, reopen it, and try another title. The Moonfin alternative is another option.

Still stuck? Message @Captain Cruv on Discord. Include your device, app, and the exact error or a picture. Never send your password.

Use another device to sign in

Use this only when the app you are setting up shows a Quick Connect code.

  1. Keep that code visible on the new device.
  2. On a phone or computer, open Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin. If typing the address, keep the s in https://. Sign in with your Jellyfin username and password. Usernames are case-sensitive; match the capital and lowercase letters exactly.
  3. Open your user/profile menu, choose Quick Connect, enter the new device’s code, and confirm.

If Quick Connect is unavailable, use the app’s username and password sign-in. A local app PIN is separate from your Jellyfin password.

Other app options

The official Jellyfin app is another free option. Use the same server address and account. Keep an app that already works well for you.

Streamyfin combines a straightforward mobile interface with active playback and download fixes. Recent user experience supports trying it before Moonfin here. This does not mean it is faster on every phone. A store update can also fix an issue without changing apps.
