Jellyfin and its official clients are free; no playback unlock or Jellyfin subscription is required. Third-party clients can have optional paid features. App availability and supported media formats vary.
Find official store links in Jellyfin’s client catalog. For Streamyfin, use the developer’s site.
Android & Google TV
Jellyfin for Android TV — Use the TV’s Google Play Store. Includes NVIDIA Shield and Chromecast with Google TV. Kodi with the Jellyfin add-on is an optional alternative for existing Kodi users.
Android phones & tablets
Streamyfin — Blackbeard’s Vault’s recommended mobile app. The official Jellyfin Android mobile app is an alternative.
iPhone & iPad
Streamyfin — Blackbeard’s Vault’s recommended mobile app. Jellyfin Mobile and Swiftfin are separate official alternatives with different interfaces. Swiftfin focuses on video.
Roku
Jellyfin — Install the official channel from Roku’s Streaming Store. No cable or satellite subscription is required for Jellyfin.
Amazon Fire TV
Jellyfin — Use the Amazon Appstore on compatible Fire OS devices. Newer Vega OS devices do not automatically support the Android TV app; check the exact device before installing.
Samsung Smart TV
Jellyfin for Tizen — The official store app supports Tizen 6 and later, subject to model/region availability. Older TVs may need another supported streaming device.
LG Smart TV
Jellyfin for webOS — Check Apps / LG Content Store on your TV. Availability depends on the model and region.
Apple TV
Swiftfin — Official video client for compatible tvOS devices. Check the current App Store requirements. Infuse is an alternative with paid Pro features.
Web browser & desktop
Jellyfin web client — Open the streaming URL in a current browser. For a desktop app, use the latest stable player linked in the official client catalog.
