🚀 Getting Started with Jellyfin

Set up Jellyfin for streaming from Blackbeard’s Vault. Start with your account, then choose your device.
Before you start
Be an active member of the Discord and have the Jellyfin username and password provided there. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.
Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account is not automatically your Jellyfin account.

Copy the complete HTTPS address into your app. Do not add a default Jellyfin port such as 8096 or 8920.

Optional: Quick Connect
Use this only when Quick Connect is offered and you are already signed in on another device. Both devices must use the same Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin server.
On the new device, choose Quick Connect or Use Quick Connect. Some clients show it after Manual Login. Keep the displayed six-character code visible.
On the already signed-in device, open Jellyfin in your browser, then Settings → Quick Connect.
Enter the code from your new device and confirm. Return to the new device to finish signing in.
Expected result: the new device opens your account. If Quick Connect is unavailable or the code expires, use manual sign-in or request a fresh code. You do not need an external activation website.
Downloads
Downloads are available through Jellyfin upon request and approval by Cruv. Contact Cruv on Discord and wait for approval. The old separate downloader is deprecated. Once approved, use the Downloading Media guide.

Contact @Captain Cruv in #support-channel on Discord. Include the device model, app name/version, exact error, and when it happened. Never post your password.
