📺& 📱 Android app sign-in (Jellyfin)
For: Android phones, tablets, Chromebooks, Android TV, and Google TV.
✅Before you start
- Be sure you are an active member on the Discord. No subscription or in-app unlock is required beyond that.
- Install the Jellyfin app of your choice. If you need suggestions: (TBD suggested apps per platform)
Heads-up: Official Jellyfin apps are free. If any app store asks you to pay, that’s not the app we use.
🧭Connect the app to our server
- Open the Jellyfin app. If you see an intro screen, tap Skip.
- Tap Add Server or Enter Manually.
- In Host, type this address exactly:
https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com
- Leave Port blank.
- Tap Connect.
- At Sign In, enter the Username and Password you received on Discord, then tap Sign In. You can turn on Remember me if you want.
Important:
- It must start with
https(with the s). - Do not add a
/at the end. - Do not add spaces.
🧩Troubleshooting
⤴️ Quick Connect: If it appears, ignore it and use the server address above.
🔁 Old server saved: If the app connects to an old server, remove that entry or clear the app’s data, then add our server again.
✉️ Username vs email: If sign-in fails, make sure you are using your Username and not your email.
🤝Using Emby too?
That’s fine. Keep the Emby app for Emby and the Jellyfin app for Jellyfin.
