📺 Android TV & Google TV sign-in (Jellyfin)

For:Set up Jellyfin on Android TV or Google TV, including NVIDIA Shield and Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield, Onn/Hisense/TCL Android TVs, and other Android TV devices.TV.

✅Before you start

    Be sure you are an active member onof the Discord.Discord Noand subscriptionhave the Jellyfin username and password provided there. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account or in-appdownloader unlockaccount is requirednot beyondautomatically that.your Jellyfin streaming account.

    Install

    Jellyfin

    Open Apps or the Google Play Store on your TVTV, search for Jellyfin, and install your preferred app.

      Heads-up: Streamyfin is for phones and tablets. It is not available on Android TV or Google TV.

      🧭Connect the app to our server

        Open the Jellyfin for Android TV. app.Use the TV app; the Streamyfin mobile instructions are for phones and tablets.

        Connect and sign in

        1. SelectOpen Add ServerJellyfin orand choose the manual server entry option if your server is not listed.
        2. At Enter Manually.
        In the server field,address, typeenter this address exactly:

          Leave Port blank,, then chooseselect Connect. Sign in withIf the app shows saved accounts, choose Add account. Select Use a password.Enter your supplied Username and Password, then choose Sign in.

          Expected result: the home screen shows your libraries. Play a short part of a title to check playback.

          This flow uses a complete URL, not separate Host and Port fields. Menu wording can vary with app version.

          If your app offers Quick Connect, you receivedcan use the optional Quick Connect steps instead of typing your password on Discord.the
