Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account is not automatically your Jellyfin account.

Install Jellyfin

On theyour TV, open Apps or LG Content Store, search for Jellyfin, and install it.

Can’t Availabilityfind it? Send Cruv your TV model. App availability depends on your TVthe model and region.

2 Add Blackbeard’s Vault

IfOpen the app is unavailable, ask Cruv about your model or use another supported streaming device.

ConnectJellyfin and sign in

  1. Open the Jellyfin app. Choosechoose to add a serverserver. if the connection screen is not already open.
  2. Enter the complete server address below, then connect.

Choose your profile, or Manual Login if your profileyours is not listed. Enter your Jellyfin username and password, then sign in.

Your username is case-sensitive
Match the Usernamecapital and Passwordlowercase letters providedexactly onas Discord,Cruv thensent submitthem. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

You’re ready to watch.

Your libraries should appear. Pick a movie or episode and press Play.

Help when you need it

Use another device to sign in

Quick Connect lets an already signed-in phone or computer approve the sign-indevice form.

Ifwhen your app offersshows a Quick Connect code.

  1. Keep the code visible on the new device.
  2. On a phone or computer, open Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin and sign in to the same Jellyfin account. Match your username’s capital and lowercase letters exactly.
  3. Open your user/profile menu, choose Quick Connect, youenter can use the optionalnew device’s code, and confirm.

If Quick Connect stepsis insteadunavailable, of typing youruse password sign-in on the TV.new Manualdevice. sign-A local app PIN is a different optional setting.

Something not working?
  • Can’t connect? Check the s in remainshttps:// available.and copy the full server address again. Don’t add a port number.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not your email or an Emby login. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video or sound problem? Close and reopen the app, check for an update, and try another title.

Advanced alternative: Moonfin

Keep theThe official Jellyfin store app above asis the ordinaryeasiest setup for this TV.here. Moonfin is an optional manual installation; it is not listedcurrently in this TV’s app store at this review date; its public release does not make installation a simple store download.store.

Moonfin’s LG build targets webOS 3 or later (2016+), butMoonfin requires sideloading. The documented route usesthrough LG Developer Mode and Dev Manager Desktop;Desktop, or another documented method. Developer Mode installations need renewal. AThe TV’sproject built-intargets browserwebOS is3+ not the same as installing the native Moonfin app.(2016+).

If you choose that route, use the currentUse MoonfinMoonfin’s Smart-TV installation instructions for your exact modelmodel. andAfter theninstallation, add https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com. Sign in withuse the same Jellyfinfull account,HTTPS or authorize Quick Connect when offered. The TV’s codec and subtitle limits still apply; Moonfin does not add hardware support to an older TV.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot connect: recheck https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com, including https://. Try browser sign-in to see whether the sameserver address and accountJellyfin work.
  • Wrongaccount.
App saved server: return to server selectiondetails and addsources

Check LG’s store on the correctactual address. Do not reinstall as the first step.

Sign-in rejected: checkTV for spaces and use your supplied username. Stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv for help if it still fails.Browsing works but video fails: update and reopen the app, try another title, and report the exact error. Keep streaming quality on Auto where available; codec and subtitle support varies by device.
