📺 Roku app sign-in (Jellyfin)

Connect the official Jellyfin channel on a Roku streaming player or Roku TV.

Before you start

Be an active member of the Discord and have the Jellyfin username and password provided there. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.
Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account ~~or downloader account~~ is not automatically your Jellyfin ~~streaming~~ account.

Install Jellyfin

Open Roku’s Streaming Store, search for Jellyfin, and add the official channel. Jellyfin does not require a cable/satellite subscription or an app unlock.

Compare apps for this device

Open Jellyfin. Choose to enter a server manually if yours is not listed.
Enter https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com in the server-address box and confirm it. This is a single URL; do not append a port or use Emby’s Port 0 instructions.
Enter your Username and Password. Select Save Credentials? only on your own device if offered, then choose Submit.

Expected result: your libraries appear. Open a title and test playback.

If your app offers Quick Connect, you can use the optional Quick Connect steps instead of typing your password on the TV. Manual sign-in remains available.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect: recheck https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com, including https://. Try browser sign-in to see whether the same address and account work.
Wrong saved server: return to server selection and add the correct address. Do not reinstall as the first step.
Sign-in rejected: check for spaces and use your supplied username. Stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv for help if it still fails.
Browsing works but video fails: update and reopen the app, try another title, and report the exact error. Keep streaming quality on Auto where available; codec and subtitle support varies by device.
