Before you start

Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account is not automatically your Jellyfin account.

Install Moonfin

On Roku, open the Streaming Store, search for Moonfin, and add it.

2 orAdd the publisher’Blackbeard’s download page to confirm the correct channel. Ordinary store installation does not require Developer Mode, a cable subscription, or a playback unlock.

Connect and sign inVault

  1. Open Moonfin and choose Enter Server URL.

  2.  Enter https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.comthe andaddress below, then choose Connect.

    Keep the s in https://
    The address starts with https://, not appendhttp://. Copy the whole address exactly.

3 Sign in

If you see a port.

Ifcode, open the Quick ConnectPassword tabtab. opens, either authorize its code using the instructions below or switch to Password.Under Password, selectSelect your profile or entertype your supplied Jellyfin username, enter your password, and choose Sign In.Finish

Your username is case-sensitive
Match the first-runcapital choices,and orlowercase chooseletters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

  3. Open your Jellyfinuser/profile username/password,menu, orchoose Quick Connect, enter the new device’s code, and confirm.

If Quick Connect ifis offered.unavailable, Saveuse credentialspassword onlysign-in on yourthe ownnew device. A local app PIN is a different optional setting.

Troubleshooting

Something not working?
  • CannotCan’t connect:connect? checkCheck the completes https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com address, includingin https://. Doand copy the full server address again. Don’t add a port number.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not addyour 8096, 8920,email or Emby’san PortEmby 0.login. TryRemove signingaccidental in through the same address in a browser.spaces.
  • Sign-inVideo rejected:or sound problem? remove accidental spacesClose and use your supplied Jellyfin username. If browser sign-in also fails, stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv.
  • Browsing works but playback fails: updatereopen the app, leavecheck qualityfor onan Auto where offered,update, and try another title. Test the audio and subtitles too. Format, HDR, and surround-sound support depend on your device and app; a supported platform does not guarantee every file will direct-play.
  • Need another client: use the platform alternative or the browser guide while reporting the problem.

Moonfin unavailable or not working?

Install the official Jellyfin channel from Roku’s Streaming Store. Add the same full server address and use your Jellyfin username and password, or Quick Connect when offered.

Moonfin is free and does not need Developer Mode when installed from the store. The current project requires Roku OS 9.1 or later. Availability can differ by device and region.
