📺 Samsung TV sign-in (Jellyfin)

Set up the official Jellyfin app on a compatible Samsung Tizen television.

Before you start

Be an active member of the Discord and have the Jellyfin username and password provided there. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.
Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account ~~or downloader account~~ is not automatically your Jellyfin ~~streaming~~ account.

Install Jellyfin

On the TV, open Home → Apps, search for Jellyfin, and install it. The official store app supports Tizen 6 and later, with availability depending on model and region.

If the app is unavailable, ask Cruv about your model or use another supported streaming device.

Open the Jellyfin app. Choose to add a server if the connection screen is not already open.
Enter the complete server address https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com and connect. Do not add a default port. Button wording can vary with the TV app version.
Use manual sign-in if your profile is not listed. Enter the Username and Password provided on Discord, then submit the sign-in form.

Expected result: your available libraries appear. Play a short part of a title to check picture and sound.

If your app offers Quick Connect, you can use the optional Quick Connect steps instead of typing your password on the TV. Manual sign-in remains available.

Troubleshooting

Cannot connect: recheck https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com, including https://. Try browser sign-in to see whether the same address and account work.
Wrong saved server: return to server selection and add the correct address. Do not reinstall as the first step.
Sign-in rejected: check for spaces and use your supplied username. Stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv for help if it still fails.
Browsing works but video fails: update and reopen the app, try another title, and report the exact error. Keep streaming quality on Auto where available; codec and subtitle support varies by device.

Contact @Captain Cruv in #support-channel on Discord. Include the device model, app name/version, exact error, and when it happened. Never post your password.
