Use the official Jellyfin app from the Roku store.

1 Install Jellyfin

On your Roku, open Streaming Store, search for Jellyfin, and add the app.

2 Add Blackbeard’s Vault

In Connect to Server, use the field labelled …or enter server URL manually:. Enter the address below, choose OK on the keyboard, then choose Submit.

Keep the s in https:// — copy the whole address exactly.

3 Sign in

Choose your profile if it is shown, or choose Manual Login. Enter your Username and Password, then choose Submit.

Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

You’re ready to watch.

Choose a movie or episode and press Play.

Try Moonfin instead — free alternative

Moonfin is a strong alternative for this Roku. Try it if you prefer its layout or the recommended app struggles with a particular title. It uses the same Jellyfin account.

  1. Install and open Moonfin.
  2. Choose Enter Server URL, enter the address below, then choose Connect.

  3. Choose the Password tab, select or enter your username, enter your password, and choose Sign In.

    Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

    Choose Skip if asked about appearance, then choose a title and press Play.

Help when you need it

Something not working?
  • Can’t connect? Check the s in https:// and copy the full address again. Don’t add a port number.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not your email or an Emby login. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video or sound problem? Update the app, reopen it, and try another title. The Moonfin alternative is another option.

Playback trouble? Another Roku option

JellyRock is another maintained Roku client, led by a former official-client maintainer. It can be worth trying for audio, subtitle, or playback problems. That history is useful, but does not guarantee every file will play better.

Why this app? Details and sources

The official Roku app remains actively maintained and has a longer household-use history. Reports about alternate Roku clients are mixed; there is not enough evidence to replace it universally with Moonfin. JellyRock’s maintainer history makes it a worthwhile playback alternative.
