🔥📺 Amazon Fire TV sign-in (Jellyfin)

SetUse upMoonfin as the recommended Jellyfin app on ancompatible Amazon Fire TV device that supports the Fire OS app.devices. Check your device’s operating system first: newer Vega OS models need a different app build.

Before you start

• Be an active member of the Discord and have the Jellyfin username and password providedsupplied thereby Cruv. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.
• Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account is not automatically your Jellyfin account.

Check your device

Find the model and software information under Settings → My Fire TV → About (some TVs use Device & Software). The current Moonfin Android-based client supports Fire OS 6 or later. A Fire TV name alone does not tell you which operating system it runs.

Install JellyfinMoonfin on Fire OS

Search theyour TV’s Amazon Appstore on your device for JellyfinMoonfin, thenand choose Get or Download. ThisThe publisher links this Amazon listing. Availability can vary by device and region. Moonfin is afree; free official app. Some newer Fire TV devices run Vega OS; the Android TVno app doesunlock notor automatically work on them. If Jellyfinsubscription is unavailable, ask Cruv about your exact model.

Connect and sign in

1. Open JellyfinMoonfin. Choose Add Server if the server-entry screen is not already open.
2. In Server Address, enter https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com and choose the manual server entry option if your server is not listed.
3. At Enter server address, enter https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com, then select Connect. Use the complete HTTPS URL; Moonfin detects the server type automatically.
4. If theWho’s appwatching? showsappears, savedchoose accounts,your existing profile. If yours is missing, choose Add accountUser. Selectto enter your username.
5. Choose UsePassword aif password.
6. Moonfin opens Quick Connect automatically. Enter your supplied Jellyfin Username if requested and your Password, then choose Sign inIn. Emby Connect is not the login for this server.
7. Complete the appearance wizard or choose Skip setup to keep the defaults. Open a movie or episode and test picture, audio, and subtitles.

Expected result: the home screen shows your libraries.available PlayJellyfin libraries and watch progress appear. Moonfin is a shortfree partindependent ofclient; aordinary titlestreaming to check playback.

This flow uses a complete URL,does not separaterequire Hostthe Moonbase server plugin. Extra integrations and Portsettings fields.sync Menudepend wordingon canwhat varyCruv withenables appon version.the server.

If your app offers Quick Connect, is offered, you can useauthorize the optionaldisplayed Quickcode Connectfrom stepsan already signed-in browser instead of typing youra passwordpassword. Follow the Quick Connect instructions.

Fire OS alternative: official Jellyfin

If Moonfin is unavailable or has a playback problem, install the official Jellyfin app from the Amazon Appstore on a compatible Fire OS device. Add the TV.same Manualcomplete sign-inHTTPS remainsURL available.and use your Jellyfin account, or Quick Connect when offered.

Fire TV with Vega OS

Moonfin has a separate Vega OS Smart-TV build. First check your device’s Amazon Appstore for a compatible Moonfin listing. The project’s installation wiki and release notes disagree about whether the Vega store rollout is complete, so store availability is not guaranteed.

If it is missing, follow the current Moonfin Vega installation instructions for that exact model, or send Cruv your model/OS for help choosing another streaming device. Vega sideloading uses its own .vpkg package and developer workflow; an Android .apk is not compatible. The official Jellyfin Android TV app is not a Vega fallback.

If the Vega build installs, connect it to https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com and use your Jellyfin account; its screens can differ from the Fire OS steps above.

Troubleshooting

• Cannot connect: recheckcheck the complete https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com, address, including https://. Do not add 8096, 8920, or Emby’s Port 0. Try browsersigning sign-in to see whetherthrough the same address andin accounta work.
• Wrong saved server: return to server selection and add the correct address. Do not reinstall as the first step.browser.
• Sign-in rejected: checkremove foraccidental spaces and use your supplied Jellyfin username. StopIf browser sign-in also fails, stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv for help if it still fails.Cruv.
• Browsing works but videoplayback fails: update and reopen the app, try another title, and report the exact error. Keep streamingleave quality on Auto where available; codecoffered, and subtitletry another title. Test the audio and subtitles too. Format, HDR, and surround-sound support variesdepend byon device.your device and app; a supported platform does not guarantee every file will direct-play.
• Need another client: use the platform alternative or the browser guide while reporting the problem.
