Install Moonfin

OpenOn Appsyour orTV, theopen Google Play Store on your TV,, search for Moonfin, and install it. Use the

official Moonfin listing if installing through yourin Google account.Play Android→

Connect and sign inVault

  1. Open Moonfin. Chooseand choose Add Server. if the server-entry screen is not already open.

  2. In Server Address, enter https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.comthe andaddress below, then choose Connect.

3 Sign in

If you see Who’s watching? appears,, choose your existingprofile profile. If yours is missing, chooseor Add User.

Help when you need it

Use another device to sign in

Expected result: your available Jellyfin libraries and watch progress appear. Moonfin is a free independent client; ordinary streaming does not require the Moonbase server plugin. Extra integrations and settings sync depend on what Cruv enables on the server.

If Quick Connect is offered, you can authorize the displayed code fromlets an already signed-in browserphone insteador ofcomputer typingapprove the device you’re setting up. Use it when your app shows a password.Quick FollowConnect code.

  1. Keep the code visible on the new device.
  2. On a phone or computer, open Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin and sign in to the same Jellyfin account. Match your username’s capital and lowercase letters exactly.
  3. Open your user/profile menu, choose Quick Connect, enter the new device’s code, and confirm.

Firstis playback

Keepunavailable, use password sign-in on the initialnew device. A local app PIN is a different optional setting.

Something not working?
  • Can’t connect? Check the s in https:// and copy the full server address again. Don’t add a port number.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not your email or an Emby login. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video or sound problem? Close and reopen the app, check for an update, and try another title.

Moonfin unavailable or not working?

Install Jellyfin for Android TV from Google Play. Add the same server address and sign in with your Jellyfin account. Quick Connect may also be offered.

Official Jellyfin apps

Appearance, subtitles, and shared devices

Choose Skip setup to start with the default appearance. You can change it later. Choose your audio and subtitle languages during setup, or under Settings → Playback & SyncPlay.

On a shared device, review Settings → Account & Security → Auto Login. An optional local app PIN is separate from your Jellyfin password.

Picture or sound settings

Start with the default player settings and test picture, audio, and subtitles with a title.settings. For a soundbar or receiver, Moonfin’s Settings → Playback & SyncPlay → Audio Preferences → Passthrough can normally remainstay on Auto. AudioHDR, formatssubtitles, and HDRsurround output depend on the connected hardware.

Alternatives

If Moonfin is unavailable or has a playback problem, install Jellyfin for Android TV from Google Play. Add the same complete server URL and sign in with your Jellyfin account, or use Quick Connect when offered. Kodi with a Jellyfin add-on is an option for users who already use Kodi.

Downloads

A TV Download option does not grant download access. Downloads require Cruv’s approval. In Moonfin on Android TV they are off by default; approved users can enable them under Settings → Playback & SyncPlay → Offline Downloads → Enable offline downloads. Check storage first and follow the Downloading Media guide.

Troubleshooting

  • Cannot connect: check the complete https://jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com address, including https://. Do not add 8096, 8920, or Emby’s Port 0. Try signing in through the same address in a browser.
  • Sign-in rejected: remove accidental spaces and use your supplied Jellyfin username. If browser sign-in also fails, stop repeated attempts and ask Cruv.
  • Browsing works but playback fails: update the app, leave quality on Auto where offered, and try another title. Test the audio and subtitles too. Format, HDR, and surround-sound support depend on your deviceTV and app;audio equipment.
