2 Sign in

Enter the Jellyfin username and password Cruv gave you, then choose Sign In. If only profiles are shown, use Manual Login when yours is missing.

Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

You’re ready to watch.

Your libraries should appear. Pick a movie or episode and press Play.

Try Moonfin instead — free alternative

Moonfin is a strong alternative for this device. Try it if you prefer its layout or the recommended app struggles with a particular title. It uses the same Jellyfin account.

  1. Install and open Moonfin.
  2. Choose Add Server. Enter the address below in Server Address, then choose Connect.

  3. If you see Who’s watching?, choose your profile or Add User. If a sign-in code appears, choose Password. Enter your Jellyfin username if asked, then your password, and choose Sign In.

    Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

    Choose Skip setup if asked about appearance, then choose a title and press Play.

Help when you need it

Save it for next time

On a computer, press Ctrl+D on Windows or Command+D on Mac to bookmark the site. On a phone, use Add to Home Screen if your browser offers it. Use Remember me only on your own device.

Use another device to sign in

Quick Connect lets an already signed-in phone or computer approve the device you’re setting up. Use it when your app shows a Quick Connect code.

  1. Keep the code visible on the new device.
  2. On a phone or computer, open Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin and sign in to the same Jellyfin account. If typing the address, keep the s in https://. Usernames are case-sensitive; match the capital and lowercase letters exactly.
  3. Open your user/profile menu, choose Quick Connect, enter the new device’s code, and confirm.

If Quick Connect is unavailable, use password sign-in on the new device. A local app PIN is a different optional setting.

Something not working?
  • Website won’t open? Keep the s in https://, check your connection, and try another current browser.
  • Sign-in rejected? Match your username’s capital and lowercase letters exactly. Use the Jellyfin username Cruv gave you, not your email. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video won’t play? Reload the page, update the browser, and try another title. The Moonfin setup in the computer guide can help with files your browser does not play well.

Message @Captain Cruv on Discord with your device, browser, and the exact error. Never send your password.
