1 Install Infuse

Open the Apple TV App Store, search for Infuse, and install it.

Some formats require paid Infuse Pro. If you want an entirely free app, use the Swiftfin or Moonfin instructions below.

2 Add Blackbeard’s Vault

In Infuse, open Settings → Shares → Add Media Server → Jellyfin. In Address, enter this hostname only:

jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com

Open Advanced, enable HTTPS, and leave Port empty.

Choose HTTPS, including the s. Infuse uses a separate HTTPS control. Do not type https:// into its hostname-only Address field.

3 Sign in

Enter your Jellyfin Username and Password, then save the connection. Give Infuse time to load the library.

Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

Choose a movie or episode and press Play.

Use Swiftfin instead — entirely free

Swiftfin is the official Jellyfin video app for Apple devices. Its TV interface has received substantial recent improvements.

  1. Open Swiftfin and choose Connect, or Add server if you already have another server saved.
  2. Enter the address below in URL, then choose Connect.

  3. Enter your Username and Password, then choose Sign in.

    Your username is case-sensitive. Match the capital and lowercase letters exactly as Cruv sent them. Use your Jellyfin username, not your email.

Try Moonfin instead — free alternative

Moonfin is a strong alternative for this Apple TV. Try it if you prefer its layout or the recommended app struggles with a particular title. It uses the same Jellyfin account.

  1. Install and open Moonfin.
  2. Choose Add Server. Enter the address below in Server Address, then choose Connect.

  3. If you see Who’s watching?, choose your profile or Add User. If a sign-in code appears, choose Password. Enter your Jellyfin username if asked, then your password, and choose Sign In.

    Choose Skip setup if asked about appearance, then choose a title and press Play.

Help when you need it

Use another device to sign in

Use this only when the app you are setting up shows a Quick Connect code.

  1. Keep that code visible on the new device.
  2. On a phone or computer, open Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin. If typing the address, keep the s in https://. Sign in with your Jellyfin username and password. Usernames are case-sensitive; match the capital and lowercase letters exactly.
  3. Open your user/profile menu, choose Quick Connect, enter the new device’s code, and confirm.

If Quick Connect is unavailable, use the app’s username and password sign-in. A local app PIN is separate from your Jellyfin password.

Something not working?
  • Infuse will not connect? Its Address is jellyfin.blackbeardsvault.com without https://. In Advanced, enable HTTPS and leave Port empty. Swiftfin and Moonfin instead take the full https:// address.
  • Can’t sign in? Match every capital and lowercase letter in your username. Use your Jellyfin account, not your email or an Emby login. Remove accidental spaces.
  • Video or sound problem? Update the app, reopen it, and try another title. The Moonfin alternative is another option.

Infuse has the longest established playback record among these Apple TV choices, although some users dislike its browsing or library synchronization. Its extra formats can require paid Pro. Swiftfin is the free first alternative, and recent TV improvements deserve more weight than old complaints. Moonfin remains a strong free alternative, with more mixed responsiveness reports.
