🚀 Getting Started with Jellyfin

Set up Jellyfin for streaming from Blackbeard’s Vault. Start with your account, then choose the guide for your device.

Before you start

• Be an active member of the Discord and have the Jellyfin username and password providedsupplied thereby Cruv. Ask Cruv for a Jellyfin account if you do not have one.
• Use your supplied username, not your email. An Emby account is not automatically your Jellyfin account.

Your streaming server

Copy the complete HTTPS address into yourMoonfin or another Jellyfin app. Do not add a default Jellyfin port such as 8096 or 8920.8920, and do not use an Emby server address.

Choose your device

ForMoonfin alternatives,is costs,the recommended app where a compatible public store app or supported desktop release is available. It is free and modelworks limitations,with seethe existing Jellyfin account; Moonbase is optional for normal playback. Samsung/LG sideloading and Vega OS need separate treatment, so Moonfin is not a single easy-install default for every device.

Optional: Quick Connect

Use this only when Quick Connect is offered and you are already signed in on another device. Both devices must useto the same Blackbeard’s Vault Jellyfin server.server and account on another device. Moonfin may show the code automatically after connecting; choose Password if you prefer manual sign-in.

1. OnKeep the new device, choosedevice’s Quick Connect or Use Quick Connect. Some clients show it after Manual Login. Keep the displayed six-character code visible.
2. On theyour already signed-in device,phone or computer, open Jellyfin in youra browser, select your user icon, then Settings → Quick Connect. in the user/settings menu.
3. Enter the code from yourthe new device and confirm. ReturnMoonfin should sign in automatically; other clients may ask you to finish on the new device to finish signing in.device.

Expected result: the new device opens your account. If Quick Connect is unavailable or the code expires, use manualthe sign-insupplied username/password or request a freshnew code.
